Who is this guy anyway?

I’m a regular guy who had an idea for a company in 2014. After recruiting my college roommate and my wife to join me in this crazy pursuit, we built a successful esports startup that was acquired in January 2019.

We didn’t build a unicorn. You may not have even heard of Splyce. We did create over a hundred jobs, value for an acquirer and a return for our investors. And we did have some incredible moments to remember over the years, like these:

Two years later and I still think a lot about what “success” means. How we measure ourselves against Facebook and Uber and Google instead of against ourselves.
